Whoever Bids LowestThin moat
Synektik (SNT) — moat facet
For everything except the da Vinci, Synektik's rival is whoever bids lowest in the next tender.
Most of Synektik's competition takes place inside a procurement procedure. Public tenders produced 85,5% of the group's revenue in the year to September 20251, and the company's filings do not name rival distributors; they say only that, given competition in medical equipment and IT, the group cannot guarantee it will keep winning2.
For the da Vinci that competition is limited, because Synektik is the only source. For imaging systems, mammography, pharmacy robots and software it is open: every major manufacturer has a distributor or its own office in Poland, and the lowest compliant bid usually wins.
Synektik's defence is the pipeline. Its active offers, bids in tenders, negotiations or technical dialogue, were 160,8 million złoty at June 2026 against 137,0 million złoty a year earlier, and orders won in nine months were 423,0 million złoty, 72% more3. The win rate is not disclosed.
The pipeline moves with the calendar. Active offers were 222,4 million złoty at March 2025 and 165,3 million złoty at March 20264, and 160,8 million złoty at June 20265; a smaller pipeline after a year of record orders means offers have been converted into contracts.
Active offers are the measure. Growing while order intake keeps up would show the tenders being won at a steady rate.
Orders and offers both rose.
The pipeline of tenders and negotiations under way.
