A record deferred balance is closer to a record obligation than a record order book.

The 77,2 million złoty Text held at 30 June 20261 is cash collected for service it has not yet provided. It is why operating cash flow of 161,6 million złoty exceeded net profit of 116,6 million last year2, and why the June quarter produced 41,5 million złoty of operating cash flow, 22,2% more than a year earlier3, in a quarter when net profit fell 6,2%4.

That gap is favourable and it is not free money. Every złoty of it must be worked off, and if customers do not renew, the flattering cash flow simply stops rather than reversing visibly.

The gap also disguises the timing of bad news. Text bills a high share of customers annually, so a decision to leave shows up in cash a year after it is taken. The same mechanic is currently running in Text's favour: it raised prices for LiveChat's Team and Business plans in September 2025 and began migrating existing customers in April 2026, with monthly-plan customers moved in the first quarter and annual-plan customers moving only as their subscriptions expire5.

So the reported cash position is a lagging indicator in both directions, and right now it is lagging on the good side of a repricing whose customer reaction has not yet fully arrived.

Payments received would reveal a problem earliest, which is why Text reports it quarterly in dollars — it is more current than revenue. For the year it was 87,9 million dollars, down 0,7%6.
