◆ Inside the Latest Quarter (Q2 2026)
Ferrari (RACE) — the variant view
Revenue up 8%, shipments down 128 cars, guidance raised: the quarter did not test the thesis, it restated it.
📈 RACE valuation, revenue & earnings — P/E, P/S, revenue, EPS →Ferrari's June 2026 quarter was the clearest demonstration yet of the only trick that matters here.
The headline. Net revenues of €1,938 million, up 8% — 11% at constant currency. Operating profit €605 million at a 31.2% margin, up 10% and 16% at constant currency. Net profit €463 million, diluted EPS €2.62, EBITDA €755 million at a 39.0% margin. Industrial free cash flow €276 million, up 39%.1
Underneath it, shipments fell. Total deliveries were 3,366 against 3,494 — down 128 cars. EMEA rose 210, and everywhere else fell: the Americas by 206, Greater China by 89, the rest of Asia-Pacific by 43.2 For the half, 6,802 against 7,087, down 285. Revenue up, cars down, for the second reporting period running.
What replaced the volume was mix and specification. The press release led with it: personalisations and mix continuing to drive results. Deliveries of the 12Cilindri, the 12Cilindri Spider, the Purosangue and the 296 Speciale family rose while the 296 GTS, Roma Spider and SF90 XX families phased out, and the Amalfi and 849 Testarossa ramped.3 Racing revenue rose on sponsorship and on renting engines to other Formula 1 teams — a line item worth pausing on, since Ferrari is paid by its competitors.
Guidance went up. Full-year revenue to about €7.60 billion from €7.50 billion, adjusted EBIT to at least €2.26 billion at a ≥29.5% margin, adjusted diluted EPS to at least €9.68, and industrial free cash flow to at least €1.55 billion — on two stated assumptions: stronger personalisations than expected, and smaller currency headwinds net of hedges.4 Benedetto Vigna added that the order book "entirely covers 2027."5
Capital went out. More than €800 million was returned in the quarter — a €599 million dividend instalment and €209 million of buybacks — taking Ferrari from net industrial cash of €388 million to net industrial debt of €131 million.6 For a company generating €1.5 billion of industrial free cash flow a year, that is a rounding error rather than leverage.
Nothing in the quarter tested the thesis; it restated it. The number to watch is shipments against revenue. As long as those two lines move in opposite directions, the moat is doing exactly what it is supposed to.
