Kioxia's June 2026 quarter produced revenue of ¥1,767.1 billion, up 415.5% on a year earlier and 76.2% on the previous quarter, with non-GAAP operating profit of ¥1.33 trillion at a 75% margin and non-GAAP net income of ¥887.0 billion. Adjusted gross margin was 80%1.

Kioxia did not sell more flash. It sold the same flash for far more.

The single most important line in the release is not any of those. It is that average selling prices rose about 70% while bit shipments grew by a low single-digit percentage2. Kioxia did not sell meaningfully more flash. It sold roughly the same flash for far more money — which is the entire memory cycle stated in one sentence, and a reminder that none of this is the company doing something new.

Underneath, the mix moved: SSD and storage was ¥1.17 trillion, 66% of sales, with data-centre and enterprise drives more than 60% of that; smart devices ¥525.7 billion; everything else ¥66.7 billion3. Eighth-generation BiCS FLASH passed half of output.

The balance sheet changed more than the income statement. Cash reached ¥791.0 billion, ¥407.5 billion of senior loans were repaid, and the company reached net cash of ¥186.7 billion — from a net debt-to-equity ratio of 120% a year earlier — with the equity ratio at 51%4. A ¥800 billion buyback and a three-for-one split followed5.

Guidance for September is ¥2,390.0 billion of revenue and ¥1,900.0 billion of operating profit, again with roughly 70% of the growth from price and low single-digit bit growth6. The shares are lower than they were before all of it.
